The engineer did not discover any other "organic" soil where the home will be built. That was good news and the organic soil was removed from the garage area and replaced with other soil.
This past Monday the footer was poured. So, the building process is underway again.
Meanwhile, I've been moving plants to mom's and Patti's homes. Rooms in the house are beginning to look bare, and 2 weeks from tomorrow (March 26) the movers will come to finish the move.
