Brown or Turquoise

 I'm going for that warm French country cottage look, but a bit more elegant than rustic. The colors of my new home will be the same as my current home. I do not have shutters on my current house, but plan to add them to the front left window, small dormer window above the front porch (if I add this) and the 2 windows on the side of the garage that you'll see when you approach the front door. They aren't visible in this picture.

I'm leaning towards brown shutters like these. 

I really like these turquoise shutters but not sure if I'm brave enough to do that. 

I like both and can't decide!!!! What do you think?

I think I should add a dormer or two to the center of the house like these below. I think it will add the illusion of height. What do you think?
