Little things got done on the house this week. Preparations were made for the ceilings on the front entryway and the back patio. They also started to install the drywall. Next week the rest of the drywall should go up along with the finish and then the primer will be sprayed on all walls and ceilings.
I met with the carpenter who will be building the entertainment center in the family room. It will look similar to the one below.
Also met with the representative from the paver company to select the product we will use on the driveway and front walkway. Here it is below:
A funny thing happened . . . I was trying to photograph the couple of little things that got done this week and look who kept photo bombing my pics.
Now, here's the pic of the bathtub which has been installed in the bathroom.
Oops, there she goes again! Always wants to be in the middle of what's going on.
The window has been put in place. When the builder sent me a picture of the installed window, Faith saw it and said, "Mom, the window is in but you're not going to like it." In a panic, I said, "WHY NOT?" To which she replied, "It doesn't fit!" When I saw the pic I was relieved and said don't worry -- they'll make it fit.
And, here you can see that it fits as snug as a bug.
