In Waiting Mode - Hold up #2

Since my lot is on a hillside and the street at one end sits higher than the floor of my house, the city asked for a drainage plan. They want to make sure that we have a plan to drain the water from the road away from the house.

The surveyor was there yesterday (Sunday) to pin all 4 corners of the house so that we don't exceed any setbacks. They are also going to be in charge of drawing up the drainage plan and then having it certified by an engineer. Hopefully, this won't take too long to get done.

In the meantime, I'm busy packing up kitchen items and other things in cabinets that we don't use on a regular basis, and storing them in the workshop. In March I'll get a storage unit and start moving them into it, and some stuff into mom's garage. After this move, it will be VERY difficult to get me to ever move again. :)
